Remix is a South African beatbox artist and Co-Founder of Next Gen Beatbox. He has performed on major stages at some of the culture’s most recognizable events and has built a career through his talent and creativity.

With a deep understanding of beatbox from both an artist’s and creator’s perspective, Remix helps shape NGB’s creative direction, content and connection with the global beatbox community.

His passion for showcasing genuine talent and pushing the art form forward is central to NGB’s mission: creating a world-class platform where beatboxers can compete, connect and be recognized for their excellence.

Having already built an audience of more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers, Remix continues to help pave the way for the next generation of beatbox artists.

Jakob has followed beatbox since 2010, watching the culture evolve from an underground art form into a global movement.

Although not a competitive beatboxer himself, Jakob has remained deeply connected to the creativity, innovation and community surrounding the art. That long-standing passion became the foundation for Next Gen Beatbox, a platform designed to give elite artists and emerging talent a professional global stage.

Outside NGB, Jakob is an entrepreneur and options trader. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and cricket, as well as experimenting with a loop station. Learning to trade transformed his life and taught him the value of discipline, patience, accountability and continuous improvement. Those same principles now shape his approach to building NGB and supporting the artists who compete within it.

Jakob is also the author of L.I.F.T Your GAME, a practical personal-development guide focused on habits, mindset, discipline and becoming a stronger version of yourself.

Through Next Gen Beatbox, his goal is to help push the culture forward, create meaningful opportunities for artists and build something capable of leaving a lasting legacy.
